Mary Margretta Case was a baker and a book lover. She didn’t have a lot of money but always set an extra place at the table ready to feed someone who was hungry. She wasn’t materialistic but had style and could make a picnic table look elegant. She always used the good china, believing that every day should be treated as a special occasion.  

She embodies the spirit of our books. Or is it that our books embody her? Either way, we are proud to call our company Margretta Press.
